Agate is said to have the following properties: balancing of the masculine and feminine energies, courage, protection, healing and calming. Blue of the sky is often associated with the masculine principle, blue of the water with the feminine principle. The color blue has an effect of calming and security, it invokes dreamlike states and leads to inward look.
