Symbols

We are currently creating STAINED GLASS TAROT CARDS and GLASS HOROSCOPES.

"OUDJAH (The eye of Horus)"

Egyptian symbol. Horus is the falcon-headed god. His father, Osiris, was killed by his uncle, Seth. His mother, Isis, brought Osiris back to life and conceived Horus. Seth killed Osiris again and dismembered his body so that he couldn't be revived. When Horus was a man he fought Seth to avenge his father. During the battle he lost one eye. He then won the throne of both upper and lower Egypt and became a symbol of strength, victory and justice. His only eye represents the third eye of clairvoyance.

Feng Shui

"We shape our dwellings, and afterwards, our dwellings shape us!"
- WINSTON CHURCHILL -

Feng Shui literally translates from Chinese as "wind and water". It has been used in China for over four thousand years to produce desired changes in any environment, altering the flow of energy to reach harmony, the idea being that every physical object in our surroundings has an influence on our lives. There is a great energy flowing through your life and your home, it is called the dragon's breath, or "chi". Balance the yin chi and the yang chi of each room in your home and you may find great happiness. By altering how energy or "chi" flows around and through these surroundings, we can promote happiness, prosperity, enhance good health, relationships, feel more energized, positive, and passionate about life.
There are two forms of Feng Shui:

• Eastern Feng Shui, which is extremely technical, and took away many people's dreams by telling them there are certain destinies that are 'set' based on their date of birth, which could not be altered. This cut and dry type of Feng Shui is more and more becoming extinct and moving farther away from the Confucians' wish of constant pursuit for perfection.
• The
United States was first introduced to Feng Shui during the California gold rush of the mid 1800s. Now, 150 years later we are being reintroduced to Feng Shui in a simpler manner called Western Feng Shui.

"Yin Yang"

Ø 8"

$39 + S&H

The light color area is called Yang (Sun). The dark color area has less sunlight (more moonlight) and is called Yin (Moon). Yang is like man. Yin is like woman. Yang wouldn't grow without Yin. Yin couldn't give birth without Yang. Yin is born (begins) at Summer Solstice and Yang is born (begins) at Winter Solstice. Therefore one little circle Yin is marked on the Summer Solstice position. Another little circle Yang is marked on the Winter Solstice position.

"Triangle of Fortune"

The triangle with point upward is a symbol of manifestation on the material plane. Red is the color of the root charka, and of the fire element. It can bring focus on issues of the body, health and meeting basic needs and survival. It is used for action and to strengthen the force of will. It can enflame passions and empower you with courage.

In Feng Shui, being a bright, auspicious color associated with warmth, life and the Fire Element, red denotes good fortune and happiness and emerges as a sacred and vitalizing color used on festive occasions. As a rule, the Asian symbolism for red is: happiness, marriage, prosperity. In China, the color red not only serves to express joy, but also to ward off evil influences. The Chinese regard red as the "lucky color."

Using coins is one of the easiest and most effective ways to attract wealth and prosperity in your life. Chinese coins are especially powerful because of their geometry: the square hole within the circle represents the union of heaven and earth. 3 coins together: union of heaven, earth and man.

Can be made in different colors, with explanation of the color.

Chinese Dragons

SHEN LUNG is a spiritual dragon. He controls the weather and rules over the wind, rain and floods. He has been featured in rain rituals dating from the 6th century BC. He is also known as an auspicious symbol of abundance and good fortune. Chinese dragons usually don't have wings, but Shen Lung does because he has been living over 1000 years. He has 5 toes because he is an imperial dragon. He taught the Emperor Fu Shi how to write, and brought the 8 trigrams of Yi Jing on his back.

SHEN LUNG is the official dragon of the Chinese new year, and a good luck dragon.

Yellow, the royal color used by the emperors, represents power and authority . It is associated with the Earth Element, which symbolizes growth. The Chinese word for yellow, huang, sounds like the word "royal," and thus was chosen thousands of years ago as the exclusive color for the imperial household. Under the penalty of death, no Chinese person other than the emperor was permitted to be clothed in any shade of yellow or gold. Yellow protects against evil.

TIEN LUNG is a celestial dragon who pulls the chariots of the Gods and guards their palaces.

Red, a bright, auspicious color associated with warmth, life and the Fire Element, denotes good fortune and happiness. It emerges as a sacred and vitalizing color used on festive occasions. In China, the color red not only serves to express joy, but also to ward off evil influences. The Chinese regard red as the "lucky color." As a rule, the Asian symbolism for red is: happiness, marriage, prosperity.
